nail

nail is not for building houses, but for sending emails from the command line in linux. If you have a script that needs to send emails, nail is the mail. Problem is it uses the .mailrc file even if you have a .nailrc file sitting in your home dir

Oh darn

So i moved .nailrc to .mailrc and my magic script magically starts sending to my pager via my gmail account. You need this in your .mailrc file:
set folder=pop3s://mailaccount@gmail.com
set smtp-use-starttls
set smtp-auth=login
set smtp=smtp.gmail.com:587
set smtp-auth-user=yourusername@gmail.com
set smtp-auth-password=yourpassword
set from="fromaddress@gmail.com"

um... a wheel..

um... a wheel..

I took this awhile ago. it was at the bimmersport (.co.nz) get-to-gether at a bmw garage. They had a M6 on the hoist. Seeing underneath one of these cars is quite rare, and as the photo shows - spectacular. The Technology in modern cars, especially under the bonnet, is largely hidden. From below there is little opportunity for the manufacturer to hide, and here is a great example. Note the amount of bushes and mounts to hold and no doubt control the rear wheel. Some suspension guru would probably add a whole lot more to this comment - probably along the lines of - looks like any other car!! :-) This just gave me an idea - i will photo graph the underside of my Ford Falcon so you can compare - check back soon.
